Customer Service is critical to the survival of any organization. Any organization that does not treat its customers well, will not survive long.
Adorama Camera I have purchased numerours product, through Amazon, from Adorama Camera. They have shipped products promptly and have reasonable prices. Unfortunately, their customer service is terrible. In December 2007, I purchased photography equipment from the company - backdrop and lighting equipment. The flash unit was defective. Using the UPS return label provided by Adorama Camera, the defective flash was returned in its original packaging as instructed by the returns department. The return location is not far from here, they received the defective return the next day, according to UPS tracking records. Today is February 19, 2008, and to date I have not received a replacement unit. Adorama Camera has not responded to a single e-mail I sent them and phone calls are useless. I contacted Amazon for assistance through their Guarantee program. Well - Amazon.com customer service has not been very helpful either. Adorama Camera’s recent feedback on Amazon reflects similar instances of defective product and failed returns/exchanges.
